Ms. Aguirre earned her B.A. in music from Northern Arizona University, graduating cum laude. She earned her J.D. and Family Law Certificate from Howard University School of Law, again graduating cum laude, and in the top 5 percent of her class. While at Howard University School of Law, Ms. Aguirre served as a Senior Staff Editor on the Howard Law Journal. She also received accolades for reaching the top of her class in Wills, Trusts, and Estates, as well as in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Clinic.
While at law school, Ms. Aguirre worked as a Law Clerk for the Law Offices of Betty A. Thompson, LTD., a family law firm, and served as a Judicial Intern for The Honorable Judge Jeanette J. Clark of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. She also regularly volunteers at the Pro Bono Divorce Clinic in D.C., and has assisted in the Family Court Self-Help Center. Ms. Aguirre has had training in child support, paternity, and protective orders, as well as electronic evidence in family law. She gained further experience as an associate attorney at Charles B. Roberts & Associates, P.C., where she advocated for clients in family law and personal injury matters.
